Clara Vale Consulting Rooms
We know that coming for an assessment can feel daunting, especially in unfamiliar places. Our Consulting Rooms in Clara Vale provide a calm, welcoming and respectful atmosphere, where people feel listened to and understood.
They are in a dedicated and separate Business Centre in Clara Vale Village Hall which has its own private entrance, small kitchen, toilets and our own three offices.
We have been keen to make the rooms a comfortable and relaxing place to spend time so there are sofas, armchairs and rugs with plants, toys, books and magazines.
There is plenty of free parking directly outside of our offices and it is a very quiet area next to a field with horses in.
There is a play park immediately next door for children to spend some time in before, after or even during our assessments if they need a little break at any time.
There is also outdoor seating if anyone wants to spend a bit of quiet time there if needed.
Both locations have the flexibility to meet individual sensory and emotional needs and we take care to ensure that your experience feels as supportive and comfortable as possible.
Every Wednesday there is also a 'Warm Spaces' Community Cafe which serves fresh home-cooked lunches, cakes, barista coffees, teas and other refreshments throughout the year.
Families travel to our Clara Vale Consulting Rooms from all over Northumberland and the Borders, North and South Tyneside, Gateshead, Sunderland, Durham, Teesside, North Yorkshire and Cumbria.
