Autism North East Self Referrals
You do not need a GP referral to arrange an appointment - we accept both self referrals from individuals and parents/carers, and referrals from other professionals such as health professionals, schools and social workers.

Once we received and reviewed your self referral form we will be in touch with you to arrange your initial consultation.
​​The clinician you meet for your initial appointment will be your dedicated person who is there for you throughout the assessment process, meeting you for your appointments, arranging specialist assessments and being your main contact to keep you informed along the way.

Assessments are usually completed within 4-6 weeks from the initial appointment.
