About
Dr Helen Taylor is a Principal Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years’ experience working across NHS services with children, young people, adults and families. Before qualifying, Helen worked in research roles exploring the genetics of ADHD and within a specialist Autism second opinion service at Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health. She has since developed extensive experience working within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, specialising in neurodevelopmental assessment and support. In addition, Helen is involved in ongoing Autism research at Newcastle University, focusing on the development and evaluation of interventions for autistic people.

Helen works in a thoughtful and collaborative way, supporting individuals and families to develop a clearer understanding of both strengths and difficulties. She is particularly interested in helping individuals access the support they need to thrive across different areas of life, including education, relationships and emotional wellbeing. Helen enjoys working with children, young people and families to build understanding and support individuals in reaching their potential.
