Client

Autism North East worked efficiently as a team to diagnose both of my daughters. As a result of this I have been able to apply for an EHCP for my youngest and arrange extra support for my oldest child at school. It has given me massive reassurance as a parent to never doubt my own judgement with my children.

Client

The team here were absolutely wonderful, responding quickly to requests and ensuring all appointments happened within a helpful time-scale for me.

Parent

I highly recommend the team at Autism North East - they were thorough, compassionate, and all highly qualified.

The team are kind, thorough and really clear with all of the people involved in the process, and I would really highly recommend.

Autism North East was set up in 2013 in response to the negative changes that were taking place in the NHS where clinicians were being asked to work in ways that didn't fit with their professional values.

We wanted to ensure that extremely high quality, rigorous assessments would always be available so that people could access the right diagnosis and support quickly. Our values around providing an ethical service led us to set the service up as a not-for-profit organisation.
