What is Autism?
Autism is a lifelong Neurodevelopmental difference that affects how people experience relationships, language, sensory information and the wider world.
Our Multi-Disciplinary Team has extensive experience of working with adults who have had a range of difficulties and who feel they may have Autism. Some adults with Autism may have had previous diagnoses including ADHD, Tics, OCD, Anxiety and other emotional difficulties which may not have been fully understood without the overarching framework of neurodiversity.
We always look at the whole person rather than focusing on one single area which allows us to provide a thorough and helpful assessment even when life hasn't been straightforward.
We take time to understand the whole person, offering clear diagnosis, practical recommendations and ongoing support.

We aim to provide a thorough assessment whilst keeping costs down by including the parts of the assessment that are necessary to reach a good understanding of each person. Sometimes it can be helpful to add other elements of assessment however this is always discussed and agreed ahead of time.
