What is Autism?
Autism is a lifelong Neurodevelopmental difference that affects how people experience relationships, language, sensory information and the wider world.
Some children with Autism may also experience ADHD, Tics, OCD, Anxiety and other emotional difficulties, and our team will always look at the whole person rather than focus on one single area.
Our Multi-Disciplinary Team has extensive experience of working with children when things are complex, allowing us to provide a thorough and helpful assessment even when life is not straightforward.
For many people, the assessment process provides an opportunity to better understand their own or their child's experiences and identity.
Our assessments are in line with NICE guidance and include all of the information needed to gain a good understanding of each individual.

We aim to provide a thorough assessment whilst keeping costs down by conducting the parts of the assessment that are necessary to reach a good understanding of each person. Sometimes it can be helpful to add other elements of assessment however this is always discussed and agreed ahead of time.
